“Wear Yourself” – Kuala Lumpur Gan-Nen-Do applied uniforms made with traditional Japanese plant dyeing.en
The concept of the Gan-Nen-Do store is a “Japanese experience and sensibility that can only be experienced here.”
A special exhibition on Japanese culture and content is held every month at the store entrance.
The second special exhibition, “Wear Yourself,” is not just an exhibition in the special exhibition area but is a project that uses the entire store space of “Gan-Nen-Do.” Local staff wearing new uniforms made with traditional Japanese plant dyeing will provide customers with “hospitality” with a Japanese spirit. With the aim of “creating a harmony of “Individual Personality” in the space,” Gan-Nen-DO used the traditional Japanese plant dyeing technique to dye each piece of clothing with a different color temperature to express individuality and express harmony throughout the entire space in indigo blue.
*Interviews with each staff member who has worn the new uniforms are available on Instagram.
