This is the first store of CULTURE LINK MALAYSIA SDN.BHD. (CLM), a local corporation established based on the concept of exporting Japanese culture to the world. Nagao Sogyo was in charge of project management for the launch of the regional corporation (CLM) in Malaysia and the launch of the company’s soba restaurant “Gannendou” in Kuala Lumpur.

“Gannendou” is a brand of 100% soba (buckwheat) noodle restaurant that is available in Shizuoka Prefecture, and the Kuala Lumpur brunch has space for displaying and selling Japanese crafts and industrial products that change seasonally and has started as a base for spreading Japanese culture.

This will be a place where Japanese people stationed in Malaysia and Malaysians who are not yet familiar with soba culture can enjoy Japanese soba for the first time.

This project, Nagao Sogyo’s first overseas store development project management, was not without its unique challenges to Malaysia. However, it’s thanks to the support and collaboration of the people at CLM and all our other stakeholders, including you, that we were able to open on schedule. We couldn’t have done it without you, and we want to express our gratitude once again.
